Disney World – March 2024

Posted on | 2 minute read

For spring break this year we went back to Disney World and stayed at Disney’s Riviera Resort using our DVC points.

We initially were excited to see the low crowds the week leading up to our visit, however, on the drive down I could already tell it was going to be insane. Sure enough, the first day was bonkers busy and it really didn’t let up the rest of the week.

There were a lot of firsts for us, including:

  • Due to the wait times, we used Genie+ and Individual Lightening Lanes for the first time ever
  • We finally took flight on Avatar: Flight of Passage (ILL, ~15 minute wait)
  • At EPCOT, we spent quite a bit of time at Japan pavilion, there are so many neat things!
  • Lunch at Chef’s de France
  • Dinner at Ale & Compass
  • Finally bit the bullet and ate at Pecos Bill
  • Chloe rode big Thunder Mountain Railroad with me (and wanted to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine-train but the wait was ridiculous)
  • We all rode Slinky Dog Dash together
  • During extended evening hours, we rode Winnie the Pooh
  • Watched the show at The American Adventure

All in all, it was a fun trip and we made lots of new memories. Here are the photos!
